Record Harvest from Our Cooperative Community Farms

Food insecurity remains one of the greatest challenges facing vulnerable households. This season, our cooperative community farms answered with a record harvest of soybeans, green grams, beans, and maize.

Harvests from our community agriculture program are used to feed vulnerable families, improve household nutrition, generate income, support widows, assist single mothers, and sustain community outreach programs.

The agriculture and food security program continues to grow — with plans for irrigation systems, improved seed distribution, farmer field schools, post-harvest storage, value addition, and agricultural cooperatives.

We thank every woman who laboured in the field, every volunteer, and every partner. "Let the one who has been stealing steal no longer, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands." (Ephesians 4:28)
